The underlying technology is a combination of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and a fine-tuned SQL generation model. The user enters the question in natural language; the system first scans the schema catalog, identifies the relevant tables and columns, then generates the correct SQL query and runs it in the database.
The most critical advantage of this approach is that it is schema-independent. The model learns each customer's database structure and generates queries specific to that schema. More than ten database engines are supported, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, and Oracle.
